Automated transport dispatch notices

Every morning, someone groups the day’s shipments by carrier and notifies each one — by email, by phone, on a portal. It is an hour or two of repetitive work where every slip costs you a dispute or an empty truck. Here is how AI prepares all of it in a few minutes, and what you keep to approve.

The morning ritual, and what it costs

The routine is the same in most companies that ship goods: pull the day’s sales or picking orders, work out the carrier for each shipment by destination, weight and habit, then notify each carrier in its own way — an email with a table, an entry on its portal, a phone call for urgent ones.

This work concentrates three weak points: it often depends on a single person who “knows” which carrier takes what; it is done under pressure while the dock is waiting; and every slip has a direct cost — a pallet left on the dock, an unplanned pickup, a dispute over a shipment that was never notified.

What the AI prepares, what you approve

Import: the day’s sales come in with one click from your sales management software or your ERP — no rekeying. Building the runs: the AI groups shipments by carrier by applying your real rules (zones, weights, lead times, per-customer preferences), learned from your history and corrected by your feedback.

Preparing the notices: for each carrier, the notice is generated in the format it expects — the usual table, the file for its portal, the email summary. Approval: you review everything on a single screen, move a shipment from one carrier to another if needed, then send it all in one go. The proposed assignment is best effort, based on your rules: ambiguous cases — an unusual destination, a borderline weight, a customer with a specific constraint — are highlighted for you to decide, not settled silently.

What changes day to day

The most visible gain is time: the preparation that took up the early morning becomes a review of a few minutes. The most important gain lies elsewhere: reliability. No more shipments forgotten because the phone rang at the wrong moment, no more dependence on the one person who knows each carrier’s habits — the rules are in the system, and that person checks them instead of carrying them out.

And because the notices all go out from one place, you keep a record: who was notified, when, for which shipments. Useful the day a carrier dispute comes up.

Your volumes and your rates stay yours
